Shall we get started?

Ingredients:

  • 2 radish
  • 1 TBSP coarse salt
  • 5 TBSP minced garlic
  • 4 TBSP Asian plum extract
  • 2 TBSP salted shrimp
  • 3 TBSP anchovy sauce
  • 1 TSP ground ginger
  • 1 cup gochugaru
  • Sweet flour mixture
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • Chopped green onions

How to Make:

  • 1. Cut a radish into bite-sized cubes.
  • 2. Put them in a bowl. Add some coarse salt and give it a good mix. Wait for 30 minutes.
  • 3. After 30 minutes, put them in a colander drain off the water.
  • 4. Let’s make our sauce! Put minced garlic, Asian plum extract, salted shrimp, anchovy sauce, and ground ginger in a bowl and give it a good mix.
  • 5. Add gochugaru in the bowl with radish cubes and mix. This is to give our radish kimchi more color!
  • 6. Add sweet flour mixture, the sauce we made earlier, and sugar and mix until each cube is well-coated.
  • 7. Add some chopped green onions.
  • 8. Put it in a container and leave it out for 2 days. Then, refrigerate for about a week so that it ferments.
  • 9. ENJOY!
