Kimchi Seafood Pancake

Shall we get started?


  • 1 cup kimchi (if you like yours kimchi-heavy, feel free to add more)
  • 1 cup chopped squid (squid is traditional but spam/pork works great!)
  • 1 cup Korean pancake mix
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 eggs

How to Make:

  • 1. Cut up some kimchi in a bowl. Add chopped squid, vegetable pancake mix, water (adjust water as you mix – you don’t want the consistency too thick or too runny!), and eggs and give it a good mix.
  • 2. Heat a pan with oil of your choice. Once heated, carefully place a spoonful of this mix on the pan.
  • 3. When one side is cooked, flip and cook it until the other side is cooked and crispy as well.
  • 4. ENJOY!
