Spicy Stir-fried Squid

Shall we get started?
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mushroom
- 1 cup sliced zucchini
- ½ cup sliced carrot
- ½ cup sliced onion
- 2 TBSP minced garlic
- 4 TBSP soy sauce
- 3 TBSP Korean red pepper flakes
- 2-3 TBSP sugar
- 1 TBSP gochujang
- 2 ½ cup cut squid
- 1-2 TBSP sesame oil
- Sesame seeds
How to Make:
- 1. Prepare veggies of your choice! My mom used mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, and onions.
- 2. Put veggies into a heated, oil-coated pan and stir-fry them on medium heat.
- 3. Let’s make our sauce! Put garlic, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, sugar (my mom used 2 TBSP of sugar and 2 TBSP of garlic honey), and gochujang in a bowl. Give it a good mix.
- 4. Add cut squid into the pan with the stir-fried veggies, then add the sauce mixture. If you’re using mushrooms, add mushrooms at this time.
- 5. Stir-fry the squid on medium heat. When the squid is cooked, add sesame oil and sesame seeds.
- 6. You can always add extra ingredients of your choice – potatoes, rice cakes, cabbages, etc!
- 7. ENJOY!
